From Brussels Airport
By Taxi:
- Taxis are permanently available in front of the arrivals hall. The fare from the airport to EDMA is around 30 euros, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes.
By Public Transport:

Option 1: By Train, Metro and Tram (45 minutes, €6.75, high frequencies)
- The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). Take any train to Brussels Central Station (Gare Centrale). The fare is 5.05 euros.
- After 25 minutes, get off at Gare Centrale and change to Metro line 1 direction Stockel. You will need to buy another ticket for €1.70.
- Get off at Montgomery (the 4th stop) and change to Tram 39 or 44 direction Tervuren/Ban Eik.
- Get off at Chien Vert (the 4th stop) and continue on foot. Turn left into Rue De Trooz, then take the second street on your right (Avenue Thielemans) and walk downhill. After 2 minutes, you will find Place des Maieurs on your left.
Option 2: By Bus (45 minutes, €4.70)
- At the airport, take Bus 12 or 21 direction Brussels City. The fare is 3 euros (5 euros when purchased on the bus).
- After 25 minutes, get off at Schuman and change to Bus 36 direction Konkel. You will need to buy another ticket for €1.70.
- After 15 minutes, get off at Chien Vert and continue on foot. Turn left into Rue De Trooz, then take the second street on your right (Avenue Thielemans) and walk downhill. After 2 minutes, you will find Place des Maieurs on your left.
From Gare du Midi Train Station (Thalys and Eurostar)
By Taxi:
- Taxis are permanently available at the exits of the station. The fare from Gare du Midi to EDMA is around €20, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes.
By Public Transport:

- In Gare du Midi, take Metro lines 2 or 6 direction Simonis (Elisabeth). You need to purchase a ticket for €1.70 which will be valid throughout the entire journey.
- Get off at Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet (the 6th stop) and change to Metro line 1 direction Stockel.
- Get off at Montgomery (the 4th stop) and change to Tram 39 or 44 directions Tervuren/Ban Eik.
- Get off at Chien Vert (the 4th stop) and continue on foot. Turn left into Rue De Trooz, then take the second street on your right (Avenue Thielemans) and walk downhill. After 2 minutes, you will find Place des Maieurs on your left.
By Car
Coming from Liège (E40):
Nearing Brussels, take the exit Kraainem-UCL St Luc. Turn right at the Crossroads, and right again at the traffic lights. Follow this road until after going through a small tunnel, then keep to the extreme right following this road. After the 2nd traffic lights take the first street right (Rue De Cock) after the supermarket called “Rob”. Then take the 2nd street right to reach Place des Maïeurs.
Coming from Mons, Paris (E19):
Take the Ring Est, and follow the direction of Liège. Take the exit Tervuren, and turn left following the signs towards the center that brings you onto Avenue De Tervuren. Continue along this road and after crossing a large intersection (Avenue de Parmentier on the right and Boulevard de Souverain on the left), you will see the Brussels Tram Museum on your right. Continue straight on and turn to the right when you see the signs for “Woluwé-Saint-Pierre Centre”, “Place des Maïeurs”. Follow rue J. De Trooz, take the 2nd street right called avenue C. Thielemans to reach Place des Maïeurs.
Coming from Antwerpen, Boom (A12):
Follow the Brussels Ring in the direction of Antwerpen / Zaventem Airport. Take Exit 3 in the direction of Woluwé. Follow this road until after going through a small tunnel, then keep to the extreme right following this road. After the 2nd traffic lights take the first street right (Rue De Cock) after the supermarket called “Rob”. Then take the 2nd street right to reach Place des Maïeurs.
Coming from Antwerpen, Mechelen (E19):
Follow the Brussels Ring in the direction of Zaventem Airport. Take Exit 3 in the direction of Woluwé. Follow this road until after going through a small tunnel, then keep to the extreme right following this road. After the 2nd traffic lights take the first street right (Rue De Cock) after the supermarket called “Rob”. Then take the 2nd street right to reach Place des Maïeurs
