He has been Managing Director of SYSMEX Europe and SYSMEX Deutschland since 1995. Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is a Johnson & Johnson Company where Atkins has been for 15 years and in the IVD business since 1999. He held prior positions as General Manager for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Canada and General Manager for Molecular Diagnostics with a start-up venture called Veridex, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company based in New Jersey, USA. Prior to joining the diagnostics business David held the position of Corporate Director, in the Office of Science and Technology, Johnson & Johnson, NJ, USA. Before joining Johnson & Johnson David held several positions in academia and biotechnology in both the UK and Australia. In the Executive Committee he represents the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association BIVDA.

   

Benny Ons Treasurer EDMA UNAMEC - BD POB 13 Erembodegem-Dorp 86, B-9320 Erembodegem (Belgium) Benny Ons is Director of Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Compliance and Quality Management at BD Biosciences Europe. He is also chairman of the EDMA Regulatory Affairs Committee, and Vice Chair of the GHTF (Global Harmonisation Task Force) Study Group 1. At the EDMA board, he represents the Belgian Association, UNAMEC.
